the cynics say the college students are the pampered lost generation, which would cringe at the slightest discomfort. but the cynics are wrong. the college students i see are eagerly learning about how to live independently. we help each other clean the dormitory, go shopping and bargain together, and take part time jobs to supplement our pocket money.

the cynics say we care for nothing other than grades; and we neglect the need for character cultivation. but again, the cynics are wrong. we care deeply for each other, we cherish freedom, we treasure justice, and we seek truth. last week, thousands of my fellow students had their blood type tested in order to make a contribution for the children who suffer from blood cancer.

as college students, we are adolescents at the critical turning point in our lives. we all face a fundamental choice: cynicism or faith, each will profoundly impact our future, or even the future of our country. i believe in all my fellow classmates. though we are still inexperienced and even a little bit childish. i believe that we have the courage and faith to meet any challenge and take on our responsibilities. we are preparing to assume new responsibilities and tasks, and to use the education we have received to make our world a better place. i believein our future.

大家好！

百里不同风，千里不同俗。各地有各地的习惯，各地有各地的特色。我的祖籍是合肥。虽然祖籍是合肥。我却十分喜欢合肥。

那里过春节有个习惯，一定要杀鸡、鸭、雨，以示庆贺，隆重。因此，除夕的前几天，长辈们就要跑去市场买年货和供品了。与此同时，红包则是过年的大主角。大人们、老人们在除夕的晚上就要开始派红包了。没有了红包，孩子们就觉得春节过得不快乐。

而对大人们来说，最重要的就是贴对联、做年夜饭和拜年了。对联是最先贴的，许多“家和万事兴”联，“福星高照”还有“一帆风顺”之类的对联则是人们的首选。贴完对联后，做午饭。也是十分丰盛，鸡鸭鱼肉、青菜、汤，样样俱全。只有鱼，是没有人吃的，也正所谓“年年有余”嘛。不吃就是“有余”了。吃年饭前，是一定要放鞭炮的。然而，放鞭炮也是有讲究的，比如：“12点08分，12点18分、28分、58分”等等。只要尾数有“8、6、3”的分钟数，对于他们而言，便是放鞭炮的好时间。

吃完饭后，休息一下，又忙碌开了。大人们又要开始“炸丸子”了。所谓“炸丸子”，是用糯米、肉、葱、盐和水等不下十种的配料浑制而成的。过年时一定不能没有它。首先要把肉剁成肉泥；再把糯米蒸好，和在一块儿；把葱、盐、蒜、姜、醋、老抽等各放一些，拌在一块儿，使糯米变得有粘性。就可以开始搓丸子了。搓好后，下油锅。但是，丸子一定要搓紧。合肥人都认为，“丸子搓得越紧，来年就会家庭越兴旺”，因此，家家户户都很重视。炸成的丸子又香又脆，又有嚼劲，十分可口。但是，丸子很难炸，因此，我们小孩子有时会自愿去为大人们打打下手，切切肉、拌拌葱什么的。

这一天，除夕，我们还得守岁。孩子们一点睡意也没有，大人们高兴地交流谈心。一切都很热闹。凌晨12点的钟声敲响，新年来到的那一刻，家家户户不约而同地放起了鞭炮。烟花、笑声充满了整座城市。大人、小孩们一同欢呼，庆祝着新年的到来。

第二天，春节。人们便去长辈家拜年，孩子们照样十分淘气。只是，窗外的雪不停地下，大地铺上了一层棉被。然而，这棉被，不是昨天的了，新一年的了。

在广州，春节大约在腊月二十七就开始了。在腊月二十七这天，广州花市就开始销售各种各样的年花和年桔，逛花市的人来来往往，个个摩肩接踵，真可谓是“人山人海”！这里可热闹了，叫卖声此起彼伏，人们认真挑选物品，寻找心仪的事物。我也不例外，一大早就赶过来买年桔了。我和妈妈边走边问价格，评价桔子的大小、多少、样子，一连走了十几家，终于在一家店面里选好了，价钱便宜又适中，这一年我们家就“大吉大利”了！

到了腊月二十八，人们总会想到这句俗语：“年二十八，洗邋遢”。大家必须大扫除，把灰尘抹净，把物品摆放整齐。大家都很卖力，还不时地唱着歌曲，哼着小调。虽然辛苦，但也是值得的！

除夕很重要。父母一早去买好鸡、肉、鱼什么的，齐心协力把饭菜做好。饭菜十分丰盛。其实这一天为的是一家人聚在一起，谈心、聊天。虽然广州现在不能私自燃放炮竹，但是过年的气氛并没减少，反而更喜庆、更热闹！我觉得，和爷爷奶奶、外公外婆在一起，实在是太美好了。吃过团圆饭，我们还猜谜语、说笑话，充满了欢声笑语。

时间匆匆而过，正月十五来到了，家人又在一起聊天了。这一天大家一定要吃汤圆，喻意团团圆圆，希望永远不会分开。过了这一天，春节差不多结束了，一切又恢复平静了。

欧拉和马克随大伯来到后园，见大妈正在河边唤鸭子归笼，欧拉热心的问道：“大妈如果梦想不曾坠落悬崖，千钧一发，又怎么会懂得，执着的人，有双梦的翅膀。不顾一切疯狂追寻过，失落过，也妥协过，但都不能湮灭梦想兑现时的片刻欢喜。在梦想与现实交锋的那一瞬间，我看到了它们的差距。而这只是一个梦想的'差距，需要太多的勇气，太多的才气，太多的热情，才能点燃青春的高潮。

是成为笑傲天穹的精灵，还是成为陆地上平庸的小丑，这一切都由你自己决定。当奥运健儿站在最高领奖台上，当国歌奏响、五星红旗缓缓升起的那个瞬间，我们看到是自豪、骄傲。可这自豪的背后又有多少不为人知的艰辛与汗水，要实现梦想就必须为之奋斗。

战国时期的政治家苏秦。年轻时，学问不深，曾到好多地方做事，都不受重视。家人也瞧不起他。这对他的刺激很大。所以，他下决心发奋读书。常常读书到深夜，很疲倦，他便想出了一个方法，一打瞌睡，就用锥子往自己的大腿上刺一下。这样，猛然间感到疼痛，使自己清醒起来，再坚持读书。才有了“苏秦刺骨”的佳话。
